The Grimoire That Learned to Eat

At Arc-Lyceum, apprentices prove their worth by performing a controlled binding of living magic. You are a bindery apprentice whose freshly delivered grimoire whispers back—then begins to drink the spells you cast. When the academy examiners demand a clean verdict, the only way to save the book (and yourself) is to learn the rules of its hunger and negotiate terms in magic-light reality. If you fail, they will burn the grimoire and erase your resonance from their ledgers.
