Letters to the Lighthouse Keeper

“Every tide brings a letter. None of them are addressed to you. Answer anyway.”

You took the winter posting at Gullwrack Point to be alone, and the sea had other plans: bottles keep washing ashore carrying letters for the lighthouse keeper who died two years ago. The writer signs only 'M'. When you answer the fourth one, the replies start arriving by hand — and M is very much alive, very nearby, and asking why a stranger is reading their heart by salt-light.
